So, what is normal, anyway?

A case of border-line OCD is not necessarily a bad thing – at least not for editors. I like things to be right. I find misplaced commas vaguely offensive, and non-reflecting reflexive pronouns do terrible things to my blood pressure. So I find it somewhat cathartic to beat recalcitrant words, phrases and sentences into submission.
